Gujarat CM Live On Government Web Site on 15th August
2008
I found this information on business standard site.
In another first to its credit, the state government will be introducing live webcast of its events, apart from secretarial video conferences with the chief minister as well as visual documentation of past events.
To begin with, chief minister Narendra Modi’s Independence Day speech on August 15, 2008 will be webcast live on the state government’s official website. For this, the government has roped in Ahmedabad-based VMukti Solutions Pvt. Ltd. which specialises in unified communications technologies, rich media conferencing and other innovative services.
The state government recently conducted a pilot test for the webcast before finally rolling it out on August 15. Consolidating on its e-governance activities, Gujarat government will also convert its conventional EPABX systems across departments to internet protocol (IP) based PBX with the help of VMukti Solutions.
For the readers reference the Gujarat Government Official Portal link is provided.
